Refund, returns & Cancellation Policy - 1st November 2009

Returns and Refunds for Books, CD's and other training materials.

If any of our products fall below the high standards you expect please return them within 28 days and we will happily refund or exchange the item. Please have your invoice in order to do this.

If you change your mind within 28 days, we are happy to refund or exchange the product provided it is returned, as sold, with all the original packaging, tags, labels and accessories. Please have your invoice with you to do this.

All returned items must be sent to

Bumpers Driver Training, 4 Waktin Road, hedge End, Southampton SO30 2TD.

Please note that the items must be free from wear and tear and unused and in the original sale condition. CD Roms must be sealed in the original packaging.

Unfortunately we cannot refund postage costs unless the item is faulty.

Partial refunds:

• Any unopened media item or non-media item in original condition that is returned more than 30 days after delivery: 80% of item's price.
• Any book that has obvious signs of use: 50% of item's price.
• Any CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened (taken out of its plastic wrap): 50% of item's price.
• Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error: up to 50% of item's price.

 

Cancellation Policy.

If you have booked a lesson or a course of lessons, either via the telephone or via the website you have a 7 day cooling off period in which to cancel.
The right to cancel begins the day the contract is agreed and ends either 7 working days after agreement or, if performance (your lesson) is agreed to begin within the cooling off period, when performance starts.

If you have paid an agreed deposit for an intensive driving course of 10 hours or more in a one week period, and then cancel, you will still have to pay for the hours that you have booked. Failure to do so will result in legal action via the small claims court, the costs of which will be claimed against you.

If you are booking an intensive course of lessons, for example 10 hours or more over a set period of time and you decide to cancel after the 7 day cooling off period but before lessons commence then we charge the following cancellation fees.

Bulk Booking / Intensive Course Cancellation Fees:

4 Weeks notice:                                    NO Charge
3 Weeks notice:                                    NO Charge
2 Weeks notice:                                    Up to 25% of the amount paid
1 Weeks notice:                                    Up to 50% of the amount paid
Less than 1 weeks                                Up to 100% of the amount paid

The above fees will only be charged if the instructor cannot fill the training slots you have booked. If they can fill the slots you can have a full refund.
These charges are in place to protect the instructor who cannot replace your booking at such short notice.

We feel these charges are fair.

Unlimited Lessons Offer;

This offer advertises that you get unlimited lessons during a 12 month period.

This is subject to a fair use policy.

We will provide a maximum of 60 hours tuition.

Lessons can be taken at a mutually agreed time. It is unreasonable to expect the instructor to teach you for 40 hours a week until you pass.
The maximum number of lessons per week is 4 x 2 hour slots
